Delete Your Account

Important: This action is permanent

Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data from Gokun. This cannot be undone.

What will be deleted:

  • Your account and profile information
  • All saved recipes and meal plans
  • Your household membership and dietary preferences
  • Meal reactions, comments, and voice notes

Note: If you are an admin of a household, please transfer admin rights to another member or delete the household before deleting your account.

Option 1

Delete from the App

You can delete your account directly within the Gokun app:

  1. Open the Gokun app
  2. Go to the Settings tab
  3. Scroll down to the Data section
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account and all data will be deleted immediately.

Option 2

Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the app, send us an email with the phone number associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the deletion.

Send Deletion Request

We will process your request within 7 business days and send you a confirmation.

Data Retention

After you request account deletion:

  • Your account is immediately deactivated
  • Personal data is deleted within 30 days
  • Anonymized data may be retained for service improvement
